ABOUT US : Joanna Cestaro, R.D.
Joanna (Jo) Cestaro has been working as a Registered Dietitian since 2002. She works for UMDNJ's Behavioral Health Care Center providing Medical Nutrition Therapy for an extensive and diverse patient population.
Joanna works with and helps to educate patients suffering with Diabetes, Heart Disease, Obesity, Substance Abuse, Depression, Eating Disorders, and abused children with numerous food issues.
Joanna created and runs her own Pediatric Nutrition/Culinary Program with UMDNJ's Therapeutic Day School for children in grades K-12. She is a strong advocate for child nutrition and wellness and works hard to promote healthy sound eating habits in both children and adolescents.
Joanna loves working with people of all ages to encourage and teach total body wellness and help them develop practical and healthy eating habits for life.
